And it seems that if they experiment with upping their calorie limit a bit, the pounds magically start to fall off again. I'm not saying this is your case for sure, but it may be worth experimenting with. Your idea to eat what you want at one meal may be a step in the right direction.

You've gotten a lot of comments with a lot of good ideas, so you have lots to experiment with! Good luck! I'm sure you'll be showing losses soon! :)

And congrats on the awesome amount of weight that you have already lost! You are truly an inspiration! :)Chubby Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09130319992240173318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923813049383285532.post-29417674387330619542008-03-03T11:57:00.000+11:002008-03-03T11:57:00.000+11:00Wow ... I haven't lost any weight for what feels like an age.

Though of all of the advice that the mighty war-khan has given, I think the exercising before breakfast might be the one that might give your body a bit of a shock. Exercise first thing ...Let's kick-start your burn! Exercise first thing in the morning, BEFORE Breakfast. You're Glycogen stores are the lowest and this will aid you in burning fat much more quickly and will keep the burn going the whole day. What sort of exercise? Walking. Just walk. Another tip, no carbohydrates at night, no eating 4 hours before bedtime. When Robert De Niro was asked how he gained so much weight for Raging Bull he said, "I had a milkshake every night right before bed." I'm not anti-carb, but you need to know when to eat them. Breakfast and Lunch. Don't be De Niro. Otherwise, my best advice is: consistency. Eat properly (whole foods) everyday, exercise everyday (regardless if you don't feel like it). No "cheat" days, and no "off" days. You can always walk. Get that routine going.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923813049383285532.post-75111941500957113312008-03-01T01:57:00.000+11:002008-03-01T01:57:00.000+11:00Sorry I didn't leave a comment the previous entry....Sorry I didn't leave a comment the previous entry. I'd say it wasn't a case that I'd put on weight, more the normal fluctuations- I just hadn't lost any.

I don't have any solutions though :( I was in the same situation- ate perfectly over a long period of time, worked my butt off... but it just didn't seem to work. In the end the only thing that seems to make a difference is cutting out carbs at night, and upping the cardio. I did it for a while, but it was hard to maintain. I'm weighing in the middle of the day now, so the morning after gain associated with pasta at night isn't such a problem.

You could be right, PCOS could have something to do with it. I have issues similar to PCOS, and I think that's probably half my problem.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10346910208449972256noreply@blogger.com
