You've got so much going for you and so much to be proud of... if you continue to feel good about yourself, that alone will make you shine at *any* social event. I'd forget all about the high school reunion and concentrate on what's really important... doing what's going to make you feel better about yourself.

Cheers.
jAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923813049383285532.post-24720587504627065812008-01-15T18:24:00.000+11:002008-01-15T18:24:00.000+11:00Woo Woo!! Its weird, I find the more water I drink, the less fluid I retain. Who woulda thunk it.

Dun worry about the high school reunion, everyones going to look different, looks dont make a person who they are, and the ones judging on looks will be the ones who arent very happy with their own. You will look stunning if you FEEL stunning!!( . )( . )https://www.blogger.com/profile/05654834275464135130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923813049383285532.post-46929889566444426322008-01-12T17:31:00.000+11:002008-01-12T17:31:00.000+11:00well done with the loss! I agree with marshmallow, set a different type of goal and if you stick with it the rest will follow. The Fat Foreignerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07604719837186012000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923813049383285532.post-79877840163143056822008-01-12T15:32:00.000+11:002008-01-12T15:32:00.000+11:00I've noticed with you, for every event you put thi...I've noticed with you, for every event you put this 10kg weight loss goal, end up putting a lot of pressure on yourself, and ending up feeling dejected and like a failure. Perhaps you can set yourself a health related goal prior to the reunion, rather than a weight one, as a change?

Something like - "I want to exercise 3 times a week for 2 weeks in a row at least once before the reunion", or "I want to eat clean for 6 out of 7 days for at least 2 weeks in a row before the reunion". I also am adamant that doing something about the alcohol would help tremendously (although I'm like you, I love the stuff - BUT not only is it great health wise to moderate, but financially it's been good too)

Other than that, well done with the 3 kilos lost!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08229478994519987395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923813049383285532.post-26844761926958645872008-01-12T12:34:00.000+11:002008-01-12T12:34:00.000+11:00Way to go on your loss!!! But, I'm glad I went anyway as I had a good time seeing old friends. Hopefully the next one I will be thinner.

You can lose a lot before the reunion just don't make it your end goal. I used to make a goal such as a vacation or whatever and lose a lot only to then go off the healthy eating plan after the event.angelfish24https://www.blogger.com/profile/13444378218098178416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923813049383285532.post-29880325958538678042008-01-11T23:01:00.000+11:002008-01-11T23:01:00.000+11:00I'm so glad you got a good result on the scale. Even though I haven't weighed, my clothes are beginning to fit like they did before Christmas, so I know I haven't done too much damage, thank goodness.

I hope you achieve the weight you need to in order to feel good about going to your high school reunion. Isn't it awful how many things being overweight robs us of?Nonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02311524237685118289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923813049383285532.post-45204637824866687722008-01-11T18:21:00.000+11:002008-01-11T18:21:00.000+11:00Well done! I just have no real desire to see most of the people I went to school with, and those that I do I'm still in contact with. I guess my 10 year reunion is still 3 or so years away.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10346910208449972256noreply@blogger.com
