Long Road Ahead

I'm currently sitting at 92 kilos and feeling OK about it, but then I hear something that makes me realise that I have a long way to go...

While watching a footy show yesterday the commentators mention that one particular football player is 92 kilos and 'MASSIVE'.

*blush*

  2. I'm sure the commentator was talking about his stature, not his weight, so don;t let it get to you! Considering all the muscle athletes have it's not that high.

  3. 90kg is NOT massive for a footy player - check out the American Gridiron players!!!

Hang in there you are doing great :-)

I've been following for a while and am so impressed you only gained 2 kg's in the States. I could have gained that in a weekend!!!

  6. That is ridiculous! Surely most footy players with all that muscle would weigh around that? Miles weighs 95 - granted, he has a bit of a pudgy tummy (LOL) but I definitely wouldn't call him 'massive'!

You are doing a great job sweets. 'Massive' shouldn't be in your vocabulary!

  7. You've lived girl.
You got to experience something you've always wanted.
You should be proud of yourself for that.
Proud for all the weight you lost, which is A LOT.

I'm curious though, whats your goal weight?

I started at 97.2 and im now at 79.6 and my goal weight is 62 kilos based on a dexa scan recomendation.

  9. I remember doing that - comparing myself to 'men' who are in sport (or just men in particular) and actually often weighed MORE than them. It was an exciting day the day I weighed in less than my husband... and now I'm about 25 kilos less than him lol. Dont you worry, one day you will be way down too.. and besides.. that guy was prob all muscle and who says 92 is massive? Not me, thats for sure.
