It was worse than I could even imagine... I have gained about 20 kilos this year.
94.5 kilos (208 lbs).*
I actually don't have the words to say much more about that. All I can say is that I am ashamed and devastated that I let this happen after losing the weight and having body lift surgery.
The only other thing I have to say about this is that I will lose this weight, starting this minute, today.
Here are some photos I just took in case anyone is interested in seeing how weight gain after a body lift looks. You can see that most of the weight is on my thighs, arms, back and chest... I still have a nice flat tummy... for whatever it's worth.
Don't be too hard on yourself you have been through a lot of emotional stuff being there for your mum. Just take each day as it comes and try to make it a good one thinking of ya :)
ReplyDeleteDear, that should be 208 lbs, not 298. And you've done nothing of which to be ashamed. Remember that incredible thing you did, when you made a superhuman effort and lost a tremendous amount of weight? I celebrate your accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteDitto to cdadog...you need to celebrate how far you have come. That being said, I'm also in the middle of working off a 20lb regain (-10 are gone so far) and it IS a lot of work but I know you can do it! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of the above comments. And, seriously...you've got this. Be kind to yourself and trust me, you don't look bad at all, you look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI was just writing to tell you that yes, your conversion was wrong! I think you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You have been going through a LOT and handling it as well as you can. I have no doubt you will get back down there!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to own up too, by saying how freaking amazing I think you are!
ReplyDeleteYou, my dear continually blow me away with all you deal with on a day-to-day basis.
You bring so much joy into the lives of those close to you.
I am so sorry to hear about your mother's illness. I pray for her and your family.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have to chime in and say, please don't be so hard on your self. You have been a true inspiration to so many people with everything you have achieved with your fitness and health. You are going through an incredibly hard time now and this is the last thing you should be stressing about!
Thanks for being an inspiration to us. Your strength, compassion and kindness are not shared by many people!
Who hasn't done that before - so easy. The def positive is that your tummy is still flat so pull your shoulders back, stand tall and do what you have to do xx
ReplyDeleteditto all the above. with all you've been going through you haven't been in the right frame of mind to be looking after yourself. You are getting back on the horse so to speak & hopefully that weight will melt away quickly!!!!
